On June 28th, 2025, around 1:45 p.m., police responded to the report of a shooting outside a business in the 500 block of Sargent Avenue.
Police believe the shooting was directed at two men who had left a nearby business and got into an argument with another male walking out front. As the argument between the three escalated, the solo man shot at the two and they all ran off eastbound.
The two victims in their 20s were located and were not injured. The suspect has not been located and the Major Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate. He appears to be in his 30s with dark brown hair.
