The Hidden Cost of Crime: How One Robbery Affects Us All

It’s incredibly frustrating to see reports like this. On January 21, a person was simply walking down the street when they were robbed of their belongings. To make matters worse, the suspects immediately went to local businesses to use the victim’s stolen credit cards.

They have no idea how much they hurt the community with these actions. It’s not just about the stolen items, it’s about the sense of safety they take away from someone walking in our city, and the position they put our local business owners in. We work hard to keep our streets welcoming, and incidents like this undermine that effort.

Robbery

On January 21, 2026, at around 4pm the victim was walking on Watt Street by Harbison Ave. when one of the suspects robbed the victim of their backpack and belongings The suspects then attended businesses using the victims’ stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases.

The people in these photos are of interest and may be able to provide police with information about this offence. This image is released for identification purposes only. The subjects may or may not be responsible for the crime indicated.
